then last sunday,
went for dinner with kenek after he off duty..
it's a japanese + korean + chinese + western cruisine restaurant in guan lan town..

the capacity is quite huge..
have vip rooms some more..

it was around 10 something so the place was quite empty..
there's a teppanyaki counter..

they gave too little of sauce..
the taste is great,
but it was so dry..
then the other other day,
went to supermarket to pick up some grocer..

Oil over here seems cheap because so far all the restaurant i went did not hesitate on pouring oil into the dishes that i ate.. i think i'm going to have high cholesterol in the future..

P e o p l e
people over here sometimes can made me suddenly died of heart attack.. even i don't died, i might get high blood pressure.. some times i just don't know how to communicate with them.. but of course, not all of them are the same.. there's also people who can get along easily with..

T r a n s p o r t
driver here is much more terrible then m'sia.. they just love to horn soooooooooo much.. i think they bought the vehicle just because of the horn.. i think the sound of the horn is the main concern when they want to buy vehicle.. passerby on the street also not bad, they don't even care if the car horn at them when they crossing the road illegaly.. cab here starts their meter at 12.50rmb for the first 3km and increase 0.60rmb for every 300 meters if not mistaken.. some of the cab in town modified the interior of their cab like a cage.. so for the driver, they'll think that we are being locked inside his cage, but for the passenger, we'll think that he's locking himself in his own cage..

there are many kinds of bank note and coin design for the same value of money.. so sometime it might take some times to look and define clearly.. and here got a lot of fake bank note.. A LOT.. i even saw people set up a stall selling fake bank notes on the street.. malaysian pirated dvd seller should learn to be brave a bit.. and the metro ticket machine here don't like fresh and new bank note as they got too many fake around.. they prefer those like salty vegetable condition.. opposite of malaysian style.. we tried once, inserted a new 5rmb note into the machine but it refused to accept.. then we squeezed the note hardly and terribly then we insert it again, it accepted.. cheap machine.. most of their bank note is in salty vegetable condition.. every single bank note than i hold in my hand might owned and hold by 1.3 billion of peoples before..

down to city..

it's my day off today, went to city for a walk.. took shuttle bus to Guan Lan then switch public bus to a new mall opposite World of Window Shenzhen.. it tooks 1 hour to reach the shopping mall from hostel.. the public bus fare was 2rmb..

The Public Bus
their public bus is kinda colorful and clean,
at least not so bad like metro bus..

Westin
the mall is just below westin.. i forgot the name of the mall..
it's something like a combination of the gardens + pavilion over in malaysia.. they have lots of branded outlet inside..

The Stairs
it's located inside the mall, a stairs of a theather..
it has screen on the stairs itself.. stayed there for around 2 hours then we took the metro to 东门町(dong men ding).. there has various kinds of shops and shopping mall there just like mong kok in hong kong..

The Coin
this coin cost 5rmb for around 6 or 7 stations..
and when u want to cross the entrance, u just take the coin and scan it on the pad on top of the entrance.. it's like touch and go procedure but with using this small coin.. then when u want to get out from the station, u just insert the coin into the exit..

The Metro
their metro is really very clean, wide and comfortable compared with ours.. some more it's white.. hot.. pedas.. i'm drooling..

The Door
the route is long..
but believe me,
the speed is faster than any ktm monorail putra lrt hot tea ice tea this t and that t in malaysia.. reach there around 3pm then we had some drinks at 必胜客(pizza hut) to cool down ourselves.. people over here love dine in pizza hut.. i wonder why.. so an hour later, we continue on the street..

The Crowd
see with your own eyes, how many people was there..

and dong men ding area is larger than bukit bintang..
people every where..

there is quite a few of snack restaurant like this in dong men ding..
mostly selling fried and steamed food..

there's a sign board at the end of the street if u can see..
had our dinner at aji san ramen around 9pm then took shuttle bus back to hostel around 10pm.. there's lots of stuff to buy there either cheap or expensive.. just that the area will be crowd especially during weekends..

i'm sorry that i can't celebrate with u..
but i know u'll understand =) ..

shenzhen city..

went to city for dinner and a walk today after duty..
this was my 1st time visit Shenzhen city after staying a week+ in Shenzhen..
it's around 30 minutes by shuttle bus from the resort..

The Buildings
the building at the left side is the tallest building in Shenzhen city..
then they brought me to the largest japanese restaurant in asia for dinner..

Zhong Sen Japanese Fusion Restaurant
no doubt, it's really huge..
3 floors and it's wide inside..
and we managed to get a seat beside the window..
their menu made me went insane..
it's really too many of varieties and u can't even decide which to order..
there are too many "rubbish dish"..
for me, sometimes too many choices is not really a good thing..

honestly, the buildings in Shenzhen city are much more modern and nice compared with the buildings in KL.. i never realise about that till the moment i saw it with my own eyes.. u better believe it, because Shenzhen city is developing rapidly.. soon it'll be another Beijing and Shanghai..

ah neh also can do..

i got no idea why the hell they put rose petal inside, with ice cubes..
i use my money to buy roses and they use it for men to pee on it..

the bill end up with 310rmb (approx 155rm) for 4 person..
overall, i don't like this place even it's the largest in asia..
don't give a damn..
i still prefer raku-zen and kiku-zakura..
walked along the street nearby then went back by cab around 11pm
since there's no more shuttle bus service at that time..

it costed us 120rmb(approx 60rm) to reach our hostel..

they even have this touch screen monitor to show u the information in the city..

it's just an apartment but it's so colorful..
there are even more buildings with light at night..

down to hong kong..

went to hong kong today to get my laptop.. get up at 7am and took the shuttle bus at 8am from resort to the border called as 皇岗(huang gang).. it tooks an hour to reach there from the resort.. then passed both china and hong kong immigration and took bus to hong kong 湾仔(wan zai)..

reach Wan Chai at 10am and had brunch at some random coffee shop..
then took MRT to Causeway Bay and started to shop around..
